To Charge or not to charge...

really..., that is my question. It's not some Shakespeare spin-off, he's been quoted on too many time already...
I'm thinking about getting a credit card, but I'm not sure. I know I need it..., but then I don't think I'm making enough money and I'm not planning to spend hard on anything anytime soon. Why would I need it?
I know it would become handy in emergency situation. But will I be able to keep my self from getting trap in consumerism?
What do you think guys...??? You think I shoud get a credit card or not?
